Wiki info about Tiger E

Official War Thunder wiki

A late modification to the Pz.Kpfw heavy tank. The VI Tiger was intended to reduce the expense of production and make the vehicle more easily adaptable to specific combat conditions. Late-model Tigers had an upgraded track assembly, including full-metal rollers with internal amortization, which allowed them to be used for longer without degrading the smoothness of the ride. The number of rows of rollers was reduced from four to three on each side. The external row was removed. A new track adjusting wheel with a reduced diameter was installed. The design of the turret was altered: the thickness of the armor at the top of the turret was increased to 45 mm, and a new gun mantlet was installed under the TFZ-9’s monocular sight. To defend the tank in close combat a Nahvertiediegengswaffe bomb discharger was installed that fired anti-personal mines. A zimmerit coating was used that was supposed to protect the tank against magnetic mines and grenades.
